Supermarket

I love this one! Not that I have kids but I have seen similar even though less drastic scenes myself. I am sure the pope doesn't approve this add. usecondoms2.jpg

Hwy 24

DSCF0483.jpg This shot, taken from a car while driving on Highway 24 in the San Francisco East Bay is another example of how blue the sky above the Pacific ocean can get in fall

Sakura Evening

This snapshot was taken on a beautiful night in April in Tokyo's Asakusa district. Asakusa with it's temple area, small restaurants and stores, Pachinko halls and bookies is one of the more traditional places in Tokyo. This special evening has been during Sakura, the cherry blossom season. The air was filled with delicious food smells and laughter. The photo barely manages to capture this happy moment. Resident Evil

gc-re4-chainsaw.jpg For those of you who enjoyed playing Resident Evil, here is the Resident Evil connoisseur controller. You can order is online on liksang.com.
Here is what they have to say about this controller:
Designed with an actual Chainsaw lying in the middle of the R&D lab during brainstorming sessions, this massive sculpted controller comes with a built-in sound chip, imitating the roar of the powerful weapon. The attention to detail goes as far as having gory blood marks on the blade. When not chopping Zombies into pieces, the Resident Evil 4 Controller can rest on its stylish stand, on top on your TV, well at sight for the bill collectors knocking at your door. Very impressive in size, it will bring you fear and respect at the same time, yet light and ergonomic, it stays comfortable and does not affect gameplay at all. Holding it in your hands for sure makes you feel like a man; now who said the Cube was for kids?

The Urban Beast Project

eduard.jpg From "The Urban Beast Project":
The Urban Beast Project attempts to document and exhibit the almost extinct plight of wild and feral animals living in the midst of our urban areas. Using adaptive skills, these beasts carved out a new "natural" system of living from the peripheries of buildings, roads and parks. While most of the Urban Beasts described within have met the end of their species, it is our hope that with exposure and attention many other Beasts will be saved.
At least, these little critters neither pee or throw up on your best rugs.

San Francisco Sky

This is the color of the sky in San Francisco on a late November day. The beauty of this city keeps amazing me, even now, more than 8 years after our arrival. What a place!

Gordon Freeman

For those of you who played Half Life, I am sure you know the guy on this photo. But this is not the cover artwork on the box. This is a person who I worked with writing a massive multiplayer game and this is his 2004 Halloween costume. I guess he got all excited about the release of Half Like 2. More about Half Life 2 to follow soon.

Cycle and Coke

Saw this bicyclist some time ago in the Sacramento Old Town district. The place was packed with people after some sort of event. I thought he is going to loose it right there and thought it'll be a good idea to capture the moment with my camera phone. I should add that he actually did not crash. Lucky guy ...
